iMac now showing Stock shortages in resellers (updated)

Apple Bitch is reporting that many retailers are seeing stock shortages of the iMac:

Hot on the heels of an expected MacBook Pro and specific 2 release comes the news that third Apple distributors are now experiencing dramatic shortage of iMac.  As pointed out two readers of AppleBitch separately, 21 and 27-inch iMac stocks are at very low levels in many European Amazon stores, particularly in France and United Kingdom.  American R & J electronics retailer is also completely exhausted of various configurations of 27 inches in spite of having much as little as 3 weeks ago.

As reflected by the impending it renews for MacBook Pro and the specific, evidence of an imminent release of product is often embodied first as stock levels fallen into third-party retailers.  This is sometimes but not always, had been followed by the scarcity and had extended delivery times in Apple online and in stores retail.  The fact that retailers have little or no stock of 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac provides a good indication of a new model could be on the road.

Update: while still showing the times of normal delivery for online ordering, we have been told a number of Best Buy stores retailers are showing limited or non-availability of stock of the iMac.

Tom Bihn MacBook Air / Pro Sleeve Review

Tom Bihn company has earned a well-deserved reputation for building excellent bags and laptop sleeves that have obtained a cult with Apple users.  The services of The Cache, a bag of Tom Bihn intended to protect laptops in my case a 13-inch MacBook Air have recently used.  Model cache this review refers therefore is the 13Air which is designed specifically for the new 13-inch MacBook Air.  Cache for MacBook Air is currently sold at $30.

For those not yet in the know, Tom Bihn is man and the company, the Director-General and designer Tom Bihn bags for more than 20 years.  However, from the 13-inch MacBook Air is the only stock exchange Tom Bihn I have tried, is the only that I can offer an opinion.  Suffice to say, it’s a bag of notebook must consider all the MacBook Air owners to provide protection for your precious laptop from Apple.

First impressions of the bag are excellent construction and filling complete. It is obviously designed with careful attention to detail and provides a very accurate fit for MacBook Air.  The sleeve itself is very easy to slide in and out of a backpack or bag and was but very lightweight beautifully filled padded foam 1/4 inch to provide maximum protection.  It should be noted that the cache does not have a zipper but a large fold flap.  While this may not be desired by some users, I loved it.  The flap sticks at the top of the bag and holds air securely in place.

Currently, the TSA seems to be happy for air to pass through scanners still in the bag so that there is no need for your laptop to be lined in trays of plastic that may occasionally have some Sandy debris at the bottom.

If you have a MacBook Air or in fact, they are planning on buying a new MacBook Pro tomorrow, go ahead and enjoy a sleeve of Tom Bihn also.  I am not sorry.
